Our story

Dressed to the Canines began back in 2014 when the original owner Victoria first started as a mobile service around the Bayside area of Melbourne.

In 2016, the business was taken over by the current owner, Chloe who, with no experience in running grooming business, grew it into a thriving, in-demand grooming experience incorporating new services such as cat grooming & a small range of therapeutic spa treatments.

By 2021, DTTC had outgrown the mobile van & in October moved into it’s new home in Bentleigh East. This move allowed us to help more fluffy friends & expand our service range even more, now including a larger range of spa treatments as well as creative grooming.

Our Team

Chloe

After a few years trying dog walking and training, Chloe found her passion for working with animals in grooming. She took the leap into the Grooming world by buying Dressed to the Canines in 2016 and throwing herself into training. Chloe has had extensive training in breed styles, everyday grooming, skin & coat care, pet first aid, natural remedies for pets, creative grooming and expanded into cat grooming in 2019. Her favourite breeds to groom are Golden Retrievers, Collies, Bulldogs and all breeds of cats.
Since 2016, Chloe has grown the business by leaps and bounds, moving from mobile to salon-based in 2021 in order to help more furry friends look & feel fabulous.

Michaela

Michaela started grooming in 2017 continues to fall in love with it more everyday. Her specialities include breed standard clips and creative grooming, having won ribbons in both categories at multiple grooming competitions.
Her favourite breeds are Poodles and Border Collies as she has one of each at home.
Michaela joined the Dressed to the Canines Team in 2022 whilst continuing to grow her own grooming business on the weekends.
